Understanding Dragonfly Event Badges
Badges allow clients and members to instantly understand what type of event you’re offering.
Dragonfly Community Badge
This badge appears on Dragonfly Community Circles and Dragonfly Community Experiences. Events with this badge are included in paid memberships or may be purchased individually for $15–$20 USD.
Practitioners receive $10 USD per participant. If there are co-hosts, the $10 is shared evenly. When members see this badge, they instantly know their membership includes a seat.
Dragonfly Karma Badge
The Karma Badge identifies events that directly support Dragonfly’s mission of accessibility and community impact. Karma Events operate on a 50/50 revenue split between the practitioner and Dragonfly and receive enhanced highlighting, promotion, and community-positive branding.
Dragonfly’s portion supports the Reiki Scholarship Initiative, free weekly meditation releases, free community offerings, platform development, and outreach to high-stress or underserved communities. Practitioners often choose Karma Events because they increase visibility, strengthen community connection, and allow their offerings to ripple far beyond the event itself.
Dragonfly Scholarship Badge
The Dragonfly Reiki Scholarship Initiative is a commitment to expanding access to Reiki education—especially for those facing financial barriers. Scholarships support people who feel deeply called to Reiki but may be caregivers, individuals living with illness or chronic stress, people serving in high-impact roles, members of underserved or marginalized communities, or quiet community builders who rarely invest in themselves.
Classes carrying the Dragonfly Scholarship Badge are part of this initiative.
Types of Events You Can Host on Dragonfly
Dragonfly supports a wide range of spiritually aligned and heart-centered offerings, whether they are educational, experiential, energetic, or community-based.
Dragonfly Community Circles are recurring, themed, Reiki-infused support groups focused on emotional and spiritual wellbeing. These membership-included events are $20 per seat, with $10 going to the practitioner and $10 to Dragonfly. Examples include grief support, caregiver circles, medical Reiki groups, emotional reset sessions, and chronic illness support.
Dragonfly Community Experiences are standalone or occasional offerings that emphasize experience rather than ongoing support. They follow the same pricing and membership structure as Community Circles and may include topics such as lunar energy and Reiki, chakra exploration, grounding through music, creativity-based sessions, or introductions to crystals.
Dragonfly Specialty Experiences are experiential offerings that are not classes and do not use badges. These events operate on an 80% practitioner / 20% Dragonfly revenue split and allow practitioners to express their unique modalities and gifts. Examples include seasonal ceremonies, sound healing with Reiki, intuitive group healing, or somatic and energy blending sessions.
Dragonfly Classes (Certification) include formal Reiki training such as Level 1, Level 2, Reiki Master, Karuna Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, Animal Reiki, Tibetan or Japanese lineages, and any certificate-based Reiki course. These classes follow an 80% practitioner / 20% Dragonfly split.
Dragonfly Workshops (Non-Certification) are educational offerings lasting one day or less. Topics may include energy boundaries, intuition development, trauma-informed Reiki basics, Reiki for parents, somatic techniques for practitioners, or self-Reiki for stress relief. While workshops may include a certificate of completion, they are not certification-level classes.
Dragonfly Free Offerings include Reiki shares, community gatherings, intro classes, holiday events, and healing circles. Free events receive the same full support as paid events, including graphics, promotion, newsletters, and calendar placement.
How to Host an Event
(Simple, Supported, Stress-Free)
To submit an event, email [email protected] with your event name, description, date, start time and timezone, duration, whether it’s one-time or recurring, pricing, and whether you’ll use your own Zoom link or Dragonfly’s.
Dragonfly handles the rest—creating graphics, publishing and scheduling the event, promoting it on social media, featuring it in newsletters, supporting your marketing, assisting with copywriting, and adding it to the Community Calendar.

1. Do I need to offer private sessions to host an event?
No.
Events-only practitioners are welcome. You are free to build your practice in the way that aligns with your current life.
2. What if someone else is already offering something similar?
Wonderful — that means the community wants it!
There is only one you, and your energy makes the offering unique.
We simply recommend hosting at a different time to increase availability.
3. Do I have to exclusively list my events on Dragonfly?
No. You can list events on your personal website or anywhere else.
We only ask:
If a client discovers you through Dragonfly, please continue having them book via the platform to support the community.
4. I’m new… can Dragonfly help me find a co-host?
Yes!
We can match you with a practitioner who loves mentoring and supporting newer hosts.
5. I want to host but don’t feel ready. Can Dragonfly help?
Absolutely.

6. Who decides event pricing?
You do — except:

You receive the same promotional support as paid events.
8. What is the revenue split for paid events?
Unless otherwise stated:

We love having as many Reiki Shares as possible in the calendar.
12. Does my event have to be strictly Reiki?
No.
Once you are a Reiki Master, any modality infused with Reiki intention is welcome.
13. I have ideas but feel stuck. Can Dragonfly help me plan?
Yes — joyfully.
