At Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace, our community is built on shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to ethical, sustainable practice.
The documents below outline the agreements, guiding principles, and professional standards that support the wellbeing of our practitioners, clients, and collective space. Together, they create clarity around participation, community culture, and responsible Reiki practice — not as rigid rules, but as living commitments rooted in integrity, collaboration, and care.
We invite all practitioners to review each section thoughtfully as part of honoring the shared foundation that allows Dragonfly to grow with trust, alignment, and abundance.
A Community Agreement for Shared Growth, Integrity, and Abundance
Last Updated: 2026-02-02
(From Amanda McCordic, Founder of Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace)
Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace was created with a very simple, very heartfelt intention:
to remove as many barriers as possible for Reiki Masters to share their gifts with a world that
desperately needs healing.
From the beginning, I wanted Dragonfly to be a place where practitioners could start — or grow
— a Reiki practice even if they:
Had full-time jobs
Were supporting families
Were recovering from burnout
Or simply didn’t have the financial resources to “do it all” on their own
I wanted to meet people where they were.
To make this accessible.
To make it human.
To make it possible.
That intention has not changed.
What has become clear over time is this:
Dragonfly cannot — and should not — be built, resourced, or sustained by one person alone.
A true community requires participation.
Energy exchange matters — not just spiritually, but practically and financially.
Without shared involvement, this work simply isn’t sustainable long term.
Before anything else, I want to say thank you — genuinely — to the Reiki Masters who have already stepped up, shown up, and generously devoted their time, energy, and care. I cannot fully express what that has meant to me, or how much it has helped keep this vision alive.
Dragonfly exists to remove barriers — not responsibility.
Simply signing up for Dragonfly does not, on its own, build a Reiki practice. What Dragonfly does do is remove many of the obstacles that stop practitioners from ever getting started:
No need to set up or maintain a website
No need to manage payment systems
No need to design graphics
No need to figure out scheduling tools
No need to navigate marketing entirely alone
No need to feel like you have to do everything by yourself
Dragonfly has also invested significant time, energy, and financial resources into creating stages — places for practitioners to learn, lead, and shine:
Community Circles and Community Experiences
Celebration events and special gatherings
The Meditation Library
Marketing and promotion of events and offerings
Visibility opportunities across the platform and community
There’s a saying I come back to often:
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with a community.
Dragonfly is not a listing service.
It is a living, growing community — one that also offers services and support.
And investing your time and energy here supports not only your practice, but your own soul journey as well.
This Social Contract exists to gently clarify expectations, reduce confusion, and support the long-term stability, growth, and abundance of our shared community.
Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace commits to the following — in service of the community and the
practitioners within it:
We will maintain the platform and continuously reinvest in improving systems, services, and infrastructure to empower practitioners and support our shared mission of making Reiki more accessible.
We will continue investing in marketing — not only for Dragonfly as a whole, but to support the visibility and success of individual practitioners and their offerings.
We commit to radical transparency in how the community operates, how decisions are made, and how resources are allocated. Decisions are made in the best interest of the collective, not a select few.
Dragonfly will collect payments for events and offerings, absorb all processing fees, and issue practitioner payouts on the first business day following the 1st and 15th of each month. There will never be hidden fees.
We will provide technical support as needed, guidance in designing offerings, and graphics for events or packages listed in the Community Calendar or Reiki Shop.
Dragonfly will cover hosting costs, licensed music, and editing for Meditation Library submissions. These offerings are considered collaborations, not Dragonfly’s exclusive property, and will be shared back with the contributing practitioner.
Dragonfly will continue exploring new offerings and directions as inspired and requested by the community. We work from alignment — not pressure or competition — and encourage practitioners to participate only in ways that feel genuinely aligned for them.
By choosing to be part of Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace, practitioners agree to actively participate in the community and uphold its shared values. This agreement is not meant to be heavily policed.
It is an expectation — rooted in care, reciprocity, and sustainability.
Regularly check the email associated with your Dragonfly schedule so you don’t miss bookings or important updates.
Each month, please complete at least one of the following:
Host an event (free or paid)
Attend a Dragonfly community event
Record a meditation for the Meditation Library
Submit a Reiki Article
Host a Facebook Live or TikTok Live on Dragonfly’s social media (coordinated with us)o Or contribute $30 toward Dragonfly’s shared marketing budget (a store button and receipt will be provided)
You’re welcome to move between these options month to month — there’s no need to
lock into just one.
If you’re active on social media, you’re encouraged (never required) to engage with and share Dragonfly content that feels aligned. This isn’t about algorithms — it’s about mutual support and helping one another be seen.
If a client finds you through Dragonfly or a Dragonfly community event, we ask that their ongoing services continue through Dragonfly. This isn’t about control — it’s about honoring the shared infrastructure and energy that made that connection possible and ensuring long-term community viability.
Practice Reiki with integrity, consent, and professionalism. A Dragonfly Reiki Code of Ethics is currently being finalized and will be discussed at our upcoming Practitioner Meetings on January 18th and 19th. Your feedback is warmly welcomed.
A Shared Commitment to Integrity, Care, and Responsible Practice
Last Updated: 2026-02-02
This Code of Ethics exists to support a Reiki community rooted in integrity, respect, transparency, and care — for clients, practitioners, and one another.
It is not intended to be restrictive or fear-based.
It is intended to:
Protect the well-being of those we serve
Create shared expectations and clarity
Support ethical, trauma-informed Reiki practice
Foster trust within the Dragonfly community
All Dragonfly Reiki Practitioners are expected to understand, honor, and uphold this Code as a
condition of participation.
(Adapted from ICRT principles)
Dragonfly Reiki Practitioners commit to practicing Reiki in a manner that is:
Respectful
Compassionate
Non-judgmental
Client-centered
Grounded in consent and integrity
Reiki is offered as a complementary, supportive healing practice — never as a replacement for
medical, psychological, or professional care.
Practitioners agree to:
Obtain clear, informed consent before offering Reiki
Respect a client’s right to refuse, pause, or end a session at any time
Honor client autonomy, boundaries, and lived experience
Avoid dependency, coercion, or pressure of any kind
Clients are always the authority on their own experience.
Practitioners agree to:
Practice Reiki only within the scope of their training and experience
Be honest about their credentials, lineage, and level of certification
Refer clients to appropriate professionals when issues fall outside Reiki’s scope
Avoid diagnosing medical or psychological conditions
Avoid making guarantees or promises of outcomes
Reiki supports healing — it does not replace professional care.
Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace is committed to being a trauma-sensitivity, inclusive community.

Avoid language that shames, blames, or spiritually bypasses pain

Refrain from imposing spiritual, religious, or ideological frameworks on clients
Create spaces where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered
Healing is not one-size-fits-all.
Represent themselves and their offerings honestly

Communicate openly and respectfully with clients and Dragonfly
Integrity builds trust — and trust is foundational to healing.

Avoid sharing identifying details without explicit permission
Understand that confidentiality may only be broken where legally required
Trust is sacred in healing work.

Practitioners are responsible for their own grounding, care, and discernment.
As members of the Dragonfly community, practitioners agree to:
Treat fellow practitioners with respect and professionalism

Dragonfly is a shared space — not a hierarchy or competition.
Practitioners agree to:
Market their services honestly and ethically
Avoid fear-based, coercive, or manipulative messaging
Refrain from making claims that Reiki can “cure” or replace treatment
Honor Dragonfly’s guidelines around shared visibility and client care
Visibility should invite — not pressure.
Practitioners agree to honor Dragonfly as a shared ecosystem by:
Respecting community agreements around participation and energy exchange
Not intentionally diverting clients who come through Dragonfly into private off-platform services
Supporting the long-term sustainability of the community
This is not about control — it is about fairness, reciprocity, and shared stewardship.
Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace believes in growth, not punishment.
Practitioners agree to:
Receive feedback with openness and reflection
Participate in good-faith dialogue if concerns arise
Engage in repair when harm or misalignment occurs
Dragonfly reserves the right to pause or end participation if:
Ethical standards are repeatedly violated
Harm is caused and not addressed
Community trust is compromised
This Code of Ethics is a living document.
Dragonfly welcomes practitioner feedback and community dialogue as the Code continues to evolve in response to:
Lived experience
Community needs
Emerging best practices
Ethics are not static — they are practiced.
By participating in Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace, practitioners affirm their commitment to:
Integrity over ego
