Practitioner Agreements & Community Standards

At Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace, our community is built on shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to ethical, sustainable practice.

The documents below outline the agreements, guiding principles, and professional standards that support the wellbeing of our practitioners, clients, and collective space. Together, they create clarity around participation, community culture, and responsible Reiki practice — not as rigid rules, but as living commitments rooted in integrity, collaboration, and care.

We invite all practitioners to review each section thoughtfully as part of honoring the shared foundation that allows Dragonfly to grow with trust, alignment, and abundance.

Founding Principles of the Community

Last Updated: 2026-02-02

Purpose

These principles exist to guide decision-making, community culture, leadership choices, and conflict resolution within Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace.

They are not aspirational slogans.

They are living agreements.

As the community grows, these principles serve as a shared reference point — offering stability, clarity, and continuity even as offerings, platforms, and leadership structures evolve.

1. We Are Guided by the Universe

Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace is intentionally guided by the Universe rather than by unhealed ego, personal ambition, fear, or scarcity.

This means we trust timing that may not always align with individual urgency or expectations. We acknowledge that not all outcomes can or should be controlled. We operate with conscious consent, explicitly inviting the Universe to lead this community and its unfolding.

Each practitioner and community member is trusted to have their own path, purpose, and season. No one’s success diminishes another’s. We hold the understanding that abundance is not limited— and that alignment matters more than speed.

2. Collaboration Over Competition

Dragonfly exists as a collaborative ecosystem, not a competitive marketplace.

We reject models that rely on comparison, hierarchy, or scarcity to motivate participation. Practitioners are not in competition for visibility, relevance, or worth. Collaboration strengthens the collective field and expands opportunity for everyone.

Support, cross-promotion, shared learning, and mutual respect are encouraged. When competition arises internally, it is viewed as a signal for reflection rather than a behavior to

reinforce.

3. Authenticity Without Judgment

Each person is welcomed as they are — not as they “should” be.

Dragonfly honors diversity in personality, identity, lived experience, belief systems, communication styles, and stages of healing. No one is required to conform to a particular spiritual expression, teaching style, or identity in order to belong.

Judgment, correction without consent, and spiritual superiority are not aligned with this community. Growth is invited, not imposed.

4. Respect for All Reiki Lineages

Dragonfly honors the diversity of Reiki lineages and traditions.

No lineage is treated as superior, more valid, or more “advanced” than another. Each carries teachings shaped by history, culture, and lived experience.

Practitioners are encouraged to learn from one another with humility and curiosity. Differences in training are not grounds for exclusion or hierarchy.

5. Reiki in Harmony With Other Modalities

Reiki is understood as complementary rather than exclusive.

Dragonfly supports ethical, aligned integration of Reiki with other healing modalities, disciplines, and approaches. Practitioners are trusted to work within their scope, training, and integrity.

There is no requirement to isolate Reiki from other practices. Likewise, no modality is elevated as “more spiritual” or “more legitimate” within the community.

6. Radical Inclusion and Access

Dragonfly is committed to being a community of access.

Financial resources are not treated as a measure of worth, belonging, or spiritual commitment. Community spaces, events, and opportunities are intentionally designed to include those with limited or no financial means whenever possible.

Inclusion does not mean absence of boundaries — it means intentional care in how access is created and protected.

7. Abundance as a Practice

Abundance is not a belief here — it is a practice.

Dragonfly operates from the understanding that generosity strengthens community and that resources circulate when fear is not in control. Members are encouraged to share knowledge, presence, and support without expectation of immediate return.

Abundance does not require self-sacrifice or burnout. Sustainable generosity is valued over over-giving.

8. Aligned Participation and Sovereignty

Participation in Dragonfly is always voluntary and self-directed.

There is no single “correct” way to contribute, engage, or belong. Practitioners are encouraged to listen to their inner guidance and choose participation that feels aligned with their energy, capacity, and purpose.

Saying “no” is respected. Declining an opportunity does not diminish standing, trust, or belonging within the community.

9. Energy Exchange as a Core Value

Energy exchange sustains the community — but money is only one expression of energy.Dragonfly recognizes contribution in many forms, including time, creativity, service, teaching, writing, holding space, administrative support, and presence.

Financial exchange is honored and respected, but it is not treated as the sole or highest form of value. The community seeks balance rather than extraction.

10. The Collective Good Comes First

No individual interest — including leadership — outweighs the wellbeing of the community.

Decisions are made with consideration for collective impact rather than personal gain. Power is not centralized for control but distributed for sustainability.

When tensions arise between individual wants and collective needs, the health of the community takes precedence.

11. No Gurus, No Spiritual Hierarchies

Dragonfly rejects guru culture.

Leadership exists in service, not dominance. Teaching is offered without coercion or

dependency. Wisdom is shared, not positioned as authority over others’ intuition or lived

experience.

Every individual retains sovereignty over their spiritual path, beliefs, and decisions.

12. Support for Creative Calling

Dragonfly seeks to say “yes” when possible.

When practitioners feel genuinely called to create offerings, events, or experiences, the community explores ways to support that creation within ethical, logistical, and energetic boundaries.

Structure exists to support creativity — not suppress it.

13. Radical Transparency and Honest Communication

Transparency is foundational to trust.

Dragonfly strives for clear communication around expectations, decisions, finances, boundaries, and changes. Questions are welcomed. Feedback is invited and received in good faith.

Silence, avoidance, or indirect communication is discouraged in favor of respectful clarity.

14. Curiosity, Skepticism, and Learning Are Welcome

Dragonfly welcomes seekers, learners, practitioners, and respectful skeptics alike.

No one is required to hold specific beliefs in order to participate. Curiosity is honored as part of

learning and growth. Questions are not viewed as threats, but as opportunities for understanding.

Closing Statement

These principles are intended to evolve with care.

As Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace grows, these guiding principles may be revisited, refined, and expanded — always with community input and intentional reflection.

They exist not to restrict, but to protect:

  • The integrity of the work

  • The wellbeing of the people

  • And the spirit of collaboration that makes this community possible

The Social Contract

A Community Agreement for Shared Growth, Integrity, and Abundance

Last Updated: 2026-02-02

Part One: Introduction & Intention

(From Amanda McCordic, Founder of Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace)

Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace was created with a very simple, very heartfelt intention:

to remove as many barriers as possible for Reiki Masters to share their gifts with a world that

desperately needs healing.

From the beginning, I wanted Dragonfly to be a place where practitioners could start — or grow

— a Reiki practice even if they:

  • Had full-time jobs

  • Were supporting families

  • Were recovering from burnout

  • Or simply didn’t have the financial resources to “do it all” on their own

I wanted to meet people where they were.

To make this accessible.

To make it human.

To make it possible.

That intention has not changed.

What has become clear over time is this:

Dragonfly cannot — and should not — be built, resourced, or sustained by one person alone.

A true community requires participation.

Energy exchange matters — not just spiritually, but practically and financially.

Without shared involvement, this work simply isn’t sustainable long term.

Before anything else, I want to say thank you — genuinely — to the Reiki Masters who have already stepped up, shown up, and generously devoted their time, energy, and care. I cannot fully express what that has meant to me, or how much it has helped keep this vision alive.

Dragonfly exists to remove barriers — not responsibility.

Simply signing up for Dragonfly does not, on its own, build a Reiki practice. What Dragonfly does do is remove many of the obstacles that stop practitioners from ever getting started:

  • No need to set up or maintain a website

  • No need to manage payment systems

  • No need to design graphics

  • No need to figure out scheduling tools

  • No need to navigate marketing entirely alone

  • No need to feel like you have to do everything by yourself

Dragonfly has also invested significant time, energy, and financial resources into creating stages — places for practitioners to learn, lead, and shine:

  • Community Circles and Community Experiences

  • Celebration events and special gatherings

  • The Meditation Library

  • Marketing and promotion of events and offerings

  • Visibility opportunities across the platform and community

There’s a saying I come back to often:

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with a community.

Dragonfly is not a listing service.

It is a living, growing community — one that also offers services and support.

And investing your time and energy here supports not only your practice, but your own soul journey as well.

This Social Contract exists to gently clarify expectations, reduce confusion, and support the long-term stability, growth, and abundance of our shared community.

Part Two: Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace Commitments

Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace commits to the following — in service of the community and the

practitioners within it:

Platform Care & Reinvestment

We will maintain the platform and continuously reinvest in improving systems, services, and infrastructure to empower practitioners and support our shared mission of making Reiki more accessible.

Marketing & Visibility

We will continue investing in marketing — not only for Dragonfly as a whole, but to support the visibility and success of individual practitioners and their offerings.

Radical Transparency

We commit to radical transparency in how the community operates, how decisions are made, and how resources are allocated. Decisions are made in the best interest of the collective, not a select few.

Payments & Fees

Dragonfly will collect payments for events and offerings, absorb all processing fees, and issue practitioner payouts on the first business day following the 1st and 15th of each month. There will never be hidden fees.

Technical, Creative & Practical Support

We will provide technical support as needed, guidance in designing offerings, and graphics for events or packages listed in the Community Calendar or Reiki Shop.

Meditation Library Collaboration

Dragonfly will cover hosting costs, licensed music, and editing for Meditation Library submissions. These offerings are considered collaborations, not Dragonfly’s exclusive property, and will be shared back with the contributing practitioner.

Alignment & Community-Led Growth

Dragonfly will continue exploring new offerings and directions as inspired and requested by the community. We work from alignment — not pressure or competition — and encourage practitioners to participate only in ways that feel genuinely aligned for them.

Part Three: Practitioner Participation Agreement

By choosing to be part of Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace, practitioners agree to actively participate in the community and uphold its shared values. This agreement is not meant to be heavily policed.

It is an expectation — rooted in care, reciprocity, and sustainability.

Practitioner Commitments

Communication

Regularly check the email associated with your Dragonfly schedule so you don’t miss bookings or important updates.

Monthly Energy Exchange

Each month, please complete at least one of the following:

  • Host an event (free or paid)

  • Attend a Dragonfly community event

  • Record a meditation for the Meditation Library

  • Submit a Reiki Article

  • Host a Facebook Live or TikTok Live on Dragonfly’s social media (coordinated with us)o Or contribute $30 toward Dragonfly’s shared marketing budget (a store button and receipt will be provided)

You’re welcome to move between these options month to month — there’s no need to

lock into just one.

Community & Visibility Support

If you’re active on social media, you’re encouraged (never required) to engage with and share Dragonfly content that feels aligned. This isn’t about algorithms — it’s about mutual support and helping one another be seen.

Community Integrity & Client Care

If a client finds you through Dragonfly or a Dragonfly community event, we ask that their ongoing services continue through Dragonfly. This isn’t about control — it’s about honoring the shared infrastructure and energy that made that connection possible and ensuring long-term community viability.

Ethical Practice

Practice Reiki with integrity, consent, and professionalism. A Dragonfly Reiki Code of Ethics is currently being finalized and will be discussed at our upcoming Practitioner Meetings on January 18th and 19th. Your feedback is warmly welcomed.

Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace Code of Ethics

A Shared Commitment to Integrity, Care, and Responsible Practice

Last Updated: 2026-02-02

Purpose & Spirit of This Code

This Code of Ethics exists to support a Reiki community rooted in integrity, respect, transparency, and care — for clients, practitioners, and one another.

It is not intended to be restrictive or fear-based.

It is intended to:

  • Protect the well-being of those we serve

  • Create shared expectations and clarity

  • Support ethical, trauma-informed Reiki practice

  • Foster trust within the Dragonfly community

All Dragonfly Reiki Practitioners are expected to understand, honor, and uphold this Code as a

condition of participation.

1. Ethical Foundation of Reiki Practice

(Adapted from ICRT principles)

Dragonfly Reiki Practitioners commit to practicing Reiki in a manner that is:

  • Respectful

  • Compassionate

  • Non-judgmental

  • Client-centered

  • Grounded in consent and integrity

Reiki is offered as a complementary, supportive healing practice — never as a replacement for

medical, psychological, or professional care.

2. Client Care, Consent & Autonomy

Practitioners agree to:

  • Obtain clear, informed consent before offering Reiki

  • Respect a client’s right to refuse, pause, or end a session at any time

  • Honor client autonomy, boundaries, and lived experience

  • Avoid dependency, coercion, or pressure of any kind

Clients are always the authority on their own experience.

3. Scope of Practice & Professional Boundaries

Practitioners agree to:

  • Practice Reiki only within the scope of their training and experience

  • Be honest about their credentials, lineage, and level of certification

  • Refer clients to appropriate professionals when issues fall outside Reiki’s scope

  • Avoid diagnosing medical or psychological conditions

  • Avoid making guarantees or promises of outcomes

Reiki supports healing — it does not replace professional care.

4. Trauma- Sensitivity & Inclusive Practice

Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace is committed to being a trauma-sensitivity, inclusive community.

Practitioners agree to:

  • Practice with sensitivity to trauma, grief, loss, and lived experience

  • Avoid language that shames, blames, or spiritually bypasses pain

  • Honor diverse identities, beliefs, backgrounds, and paths

  • Refrain from imposing spiritual, religious, or ideological frameworks on clients

  • Create spaces where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered

Healing is not one-size-fits-all.

5. Integrity, Transparency & Honesty

Practitioners agree to:

  • Represent themselves and their offerings honestly

  • Avoid exaggeration of abilities, outcomes, or experience• Disclose pricing, session structure, and expectations clearly

  • Communicate openly and respectfully with clients and Dragonfly

Practitioners agree to:

  • Respect client confidentiality at all times

  • Protect personal information shared during sessions or events

  • Avoid sharing identifying details without explicit permission

  • Understand that confidentiality may only be broken where legally required

Trust is sacred in healing work.

7. Energetic & Relational Responsibility

Practitioners agree to:

  • Maintain appropriate energetic and relational boundaries

  • Refrain from exploiting emotional vulnerability

  • Practice self-awareness and self-regulation

Practitioners are responsible for their own grounding, care, and discernment.

8. Community Conduct & Mutual Respect

As members of the Dragonfly community, practitioners agree to:

  • Treat fellow practitioners with respect and professionalism

  • Avoid gossip, disparagement, or competitive undermining

  • Address concerns directly, kindly, and constructively

  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration rather than comparison

Dragonfly is a shared space — not a hierarchy or competition.

9. Ethical Marketing & Visibility

Practitioners agree to:

  • Market their services honestly and ethically

  • Avoid fear-based, coercive, or manipulative messaging

  • Refrain from making claims that Reiki can “cure” or replace treatment

  • Honor Dragonfly’s guidelines around shared visibility and client care

Visibility should invite — not pressure.

10. Community Integrity & Shared Sustainability

Practitioners agree to honor Dragonfly as a shared ecosystem by:

  • Respecting community agreements around participation and energy exchange

  • Not intentionally diverting clients who come through Dragonfly into private off-platform services

  • Supporting the long-term sustainability of the community

This is not about control — it is about fairness, reciprocity, and shared stewardship.

11. Accountability, Feedback & Growth

Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace believes in growth, not punishment.

Practitioners agree to:

  • Receive feedback with openness and reflection

  • Participate in good-faith dialogue if concerns arise

  • Engage in repair when harm or misalignment occurs

Dragonfly reserves the right to pause or end participation if:

  • Ethical standards are repeatedly violated

  • Harm is caused and not addressed

  • Community trust is compromised

12. A Living, Evolving Code

This Code of Ethics is a living document.

Dragonfly welcomes practitioner feedback and community dialogue as the Code continues to evolve in response to:

  • Lived experience

  • Community needs

  • Emerging best practices

Ethics are not static — they are practiced.

Closing Intention

By participating in Dragonfly Reiki Marketplace, practitioners affirm their commitment to:

  • Integrity over ego

  • Care over performance

  • Alignment over pressure

  • Community over competition
